Antique Show

I am a huge fan of the antique show, and this weekend there was a giant one in Charlotte at the Metrolina Expo center. They have one the first weekend of every month, but twice a year they hold a "classic" which means the show has more vendors, more people, and lasts longer.

I would love to go to one of these with an unlimited budget, as it was I definitely went a little over the budget I had set for myself. Which I fully justified by knowing that the stuff I bought would not be something I could just come back and get another day.

There was every sort of furniture, lighting, accessory etc at the show, ranging from actual high end antiques to vintage, industrial etc. mixed in of course with all sorts of other "junk."

Here are few snap shots of stuff that caught my eye while I was on the hunt for accessories.

How pretty are the colors on these seltzer bottles?

This guy had a bunch of old charts and maps that were really cool for good prices ($65-$100 before any bargaining).

Beautiful marble lamp, it was in amazing condition.

Gorgeous leather trunk

I really like vintage industrial accessories and these metal baskets made it home with me.

Vintage gym baskets (I have wanted some of these for years).

A vintage olive basket- apparently these came from some farm in Turkey and the vendor couldn't believe people were actually willing to pay for them. He also priced them low because of this, which was great since other vendors had them priced at double what he had.

Check out these giant letters, so fun.

How cute is this little car?

A couple of the Christmas items that came home with me, I couldn't resist the mini vintage ornaments.
