The Good, Bad, & Ugly

Contemplating world domination

The Good:

Izzie is finally napping after a 4 day nap strike.

I've made a huge dent in my Christmas shopping- packages are arriving daily.

My Christmas cards have been printed and shipped and will be in my hands tomorrow.

The Bad:

The past 4 days have been a serious power struggle between me and my 3 year old dictator in training and after yesterday when I thought things couldn't get any worse she came into our room at 3:30 in the morning and kept me awake until 5:00.

Our house is pretty much a wreck.

I had to endure dealing with various customer service representatives today.

It is raining- I don't mind the rain but I do mind that it is interfering with the run I wanted to go on today.

The Ugly:

I resorted to tying my toddler's door shut with the tail of her monkey backpack (you know the leash part that attaches to the pack and your arm) after a fruitless search for the childproof door lock. All so she realized she could not just get out of her room if she did not feel like napping.

The week is only half over.

I mostly wanted to make this list the Bad and Ugly but forced myself to add some "Good" items.
