It was nice to be in a neighborhood this Halloween. We took Izzie out to a handful of houses for trick or treating and she loved it. She came back with a completely full bucket of candy.
My favorite part was the family who had their golf cart out fully decorated with everyone in full costume- they were also handing out candy to kids in between trick or treating. I could definitely get behind that method of trick or treating.
I got into the Halloween spirit this year with my costume and even put on the green makeup- Izzie directed me on exactly where I needed to put the makeup since she wanted me to look exactly like the witch pictured on the bag of the costume. Izzie was Snow White for several Halloween events this year, including all day on Halloween for her school party, but then she decided a wardrobe change was in order and put on her Rapunzel dress for trick or treating.
