Thanksgiving Napkins

Chris and I are hosting Thanksgiving this year, it is the first Thanksgiving we have ever hosted and had at our house. We have the menu set, a week of activities outlined and family starts flying in today! It should be fun, and even though I have had people say they are glad they aren't hosting a house full of guests, I am excited and thinking those people probably aren't overly fond of their family members.

Planning things is kind of my passion anyway.

As part of our table settings for Thanksgiving I decided to stencil some napkins, inspired by this one at Terrain.

I got some Martha Stewart stencils from Michael's, a little stencil brush, and some fabric paint, followed the instructions included on the paint and stencil set and voila.

My own custom napkins.

I am already thinking I want to do a Christmas version with red napkins and white lettering.

I can't wait to set the table for Thanksgiving- I love setting the table, weird? I don't know, but it has been my job ever since I can remember. If I am home for any holiday, my mom always lets me pick out the dishes, linens, flatware and centerpieces.
